We had the most amazing stay at this cabin. It was worth every cent. It was private, the view was gorgeous, the animal life exceeded our expectations and the cabin had everything you need and more. Everything has been so well thought out and we loved our stay. I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you are a couple, or perhaps friends looking for some quiet time away from the city. A stunning retreat, perfect for a couples’ getaway or solo travellers. Our stay was absolutely blissful. The Kol Kol hot tub was a definite highlight, and the pizza oven and braai area are great additions that we thoroughly enjoyed. The soothing sounds of nature added an extra layer of peace and relaxation. The cabin was well-equipped and provided everything we needed for the weekend, and communication with the Cabin Collective team was excellent and comprehensive. Truly worth visiting.

I had a wonderful time at the Valley Pod. The location is perfect if you’d like to be out the city without a long drive. The facilities and amenities of the cabin are well thought out and generous. The fire place in the bedroom, hot tub and outdoor shower were my favourite features. There are beautiful walking trails on the farm too !!

Loved the experience, everything was easy and well communicated. It does get slightly warm in the cabins throughout the day but be sure to open the windows and doors and then the heat is mitigated. The massage service was one of the best! The pool and braai facilities were top notch. We will be coming back soon!

Hubby surprised me for our anniversary. The cabin is beautiful, everything from the rooms to the boma to the hot tub. The view is breathtaking, whether sunny, cloudy or the night sky. We loved the privacy we had. It felt like it was just the two of us and nature. We really loved our stay. It felt like home 🥰

This was our second time at The Cabin Collective and it was even more amazing than our first. The Cabin is peaceful, romantic and the perfect little escape. The hosts make you feel so welcome, and we were spoiled with a fantastic bubbly and the most delicious pizzas. They went out of their way to let us land the helicopter on site, and it honestly made the stay even more memorable. I honestly can’t recommend this place and the hosts enough, easily one of our favorite getaways ever. It’s a full 10/10 experience for us.

A beautiful escape! My husband and I had a beautiful stay at cabin collective. On arrival the cabin was clean and ready for us to take occupation. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and we got treated with their homemade butter and jam which was a beautiful touch. The pizza making using their pizza oven also created a beautiful bonding exercise and the view is absolutely stunning. To the cabin collective team, thank you! I definitely recommend going and I will certainly go again in the near future.

This was the nicest experience, I loved how easy it was to get there, the host is exceptionally communicative, we didn’t mind the gravel road to get to the cabin she gave us all the heads up needed for our stay and had a smooth check in. This was amazing experience! Close to the city, but it felt like hundreds of kilometers away of the hustle and bustle. It is in a beautiful, restful spot and you can just breathe out and forget about everything. The cabin is perfect, with everything you can imagine and some things you never even thought about! Every single item is of the highest quality and the decor is very tastefully done. To wake up on a perfect bed and be able to just lie there and take in the view while the coffee aroma starts wafting from the kitchen (perfectly appointed as well), what more can you ask. I would definitely recommend this retreat!

We had the most incredible weekend staying at this cozy cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful surroundings and charming interior. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape.
Waking up to the sounds of nature and sipping coffee on the porch was pure magic. We loved soaking in the hot tub under the stars. It felt like our own little world—private, serene, and incredibly romantic.

The pictures depicted on the website are not as nice as seeing it by eye, they don’t do justice. I was impressed by everything from the fully equipped kitchen to all the aesthetics in the cabin. That experience is worth reliving, will definitely visit again.
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Cabin Collective and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The cabin was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. This place is incredible. If you love nature and you want some peace and quiet then this is a perfect spot for you. The kitchen had all the utensils that we needed and more. When we got there we found the pool nice and warm.😄It was a beautiful night so we kept the fire burning all night. I'm definitely going back soon!

Our cabin was beautifully situated for privacy and breathtaking views. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine was such a treat. The cabin was cosy with a fireplace which was perfect for the rainy mornings. Our favourite was definitely the Kol Kol heated pool, which was prepared for us upon arrival. Just an overall relaxing and romantic stay.
A lovely bush getaway away from all the hustle and bustle. Enjoyed the modern design of the cabin, having impalas/antelopes in the yard but also saw a giraffe and some warthogs from a distance in the mountains. Lots to say about the place, great for any couple to just relax and re/connect.
I have stayed at dozen B&B, lodges & Guesthouse you name it… But this was on the top of the list of best stays/ experiences ever. Our Room was spotless, comfortable and spacious. Very unique, super special and breathtaking.
The cabin is luxurious, well designed with lots of extras. A stunning location less than an hour away from Johannesburg. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Absolutely stunning fully equipped cabin with the most breathtaking view. The pictures simply don't give justice to the majestic and picturesque scenery you wake up to on a daily. It's gorgeous, it's thoughtfully stocked, the bed was so unbelievably comfortable and the location was so coviniently close. 10/10 Would recommend for a romantic getaway for two.

We were blown away by our stay here, from the beautiful cabins to the tranquility of the surroundings to the small thoughtful touches, it was just perfect! We had the most relaxing massage and a delicious cheese platter to enjoy afterwards too. We came back home relaxed and rejuvenated - a perfect weekend away, despite the rainy weather. I cant recommend Cabin Collective Retreat enough. Its perfect for everyone. The location is perfect with stunning views. The place is exactly the same as the pictures online. A very short drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Its a definite must visit. The service was excellent.

Such a beautiful cabin to stay in. The host is also extremely gracious and helpful. No complaints at all.
10/10 experience. Loved every last second. We had a few friendly 4-legged neighbours and we had no sign of our human neighbours apart from their car(s). Would’ve loved a safe but fortunately brought a padlock for our suitcase which was completely unnecessary - the cabin is very secure. We had the option to have our cabin cleaned daily, we opted for every 2 days since the clean is quite thorough. The welcome pack was a cute touch. Definitely coming back! Only downside is that you can’t stay there forever 😂
